Pan Roasted Halibut with Calvados and Serrano Ham-Butter Sauce

This dish was met with rave reviews. I subbed pumpkin seeds for the pine nuts and apple juice for the apple brandy .(as that is what I had on hand.) Though the flavors seemed a strange comb for me it was delicious.

Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Not good at all. The sausage was over cooked and flavorless from sitting atop the casserole. OVERALLL JUST MEH.

Basil Tomato Soup

Super fast-easy -tasty! Winning combo! Dinner on the table in less then 15 m with this recipe+ grilled cheese! I subbed whl milk for cream, as that is what we had. And tripled the sugar after tasting final product.

Fluffy Pancakes

Great pancakes. I have followed the recipes exactly as well as modifying recipe by using milk that turned sour in place of milk with vinegar, just increase the volume of the milk to account for the vinegar you are skipping. I I also prefer a less sweet batter and so quick the sugar by 1/2.

Shish Tawook Grilled Chicken

Seriously tasty stuff. I lived in the Middle East 8 years and this is what I would typically order at local food eateries. Highly recommend. Used 1/2 Tablespoon fresh Oregano for the the dried the recipe called for taste was SUPER. Easy and tasty!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

WAY too much lemon. This is from the girl who squeezes lemon juice onto her french fries. It was over powering. I think the butter to lemon should be more like 2 parts butter to 1 part lemon. And definitely increase the garlic. I love the lemon -parsley -butter combo with fish just use different ratios then recipe.
