Tricolor Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
I usually fail at every recipe that I try but this one actually turned out great! Last night for dinner I attempted to make Italian Meatball subs (fail) and pasta salad... and it's so yummy! I did add chick peas just because I like them in pasta salad...and I didn't have carrots in it.

BBQ Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly. I can appreciate it for what it is but I didn't like the tastes. Maybe a different bbq sauce would make it better. (shrugs) I'll try it again, w/out cilantro and w/better bbq sauce.... and maybe w/out the bacon, too. haha.

Taco in a Bag

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
When I was preparing this meal, my fiance laughed and said he felt like he was about to eat ramon noodles for dinner... (like it was a cheap, icky meal), but he really enjoyed it and so did I. :) Yummy!

Slow Cooker Beef Roast

I totally hated it and so did my family. Next time I'll just use my Grandma's recipe.

Egg Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I thought this was pretty good. I made my own noodles (for the first time!) for this recipe... I didn't add the mushrooms because I knew my husband wouldn't eat it then... but my kids loved it! I'll be making it again...but I'll probably just buy egg noodles next time. Mine were just so thick! - but that's my own fault :)

Classic Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
After trying a different recipe on here that called for all sorts of ingredients, like sour cream and cottage cheese... I decided to try a more "normal" recipe because my family really didn't like the other one. They said this is how mac and cheese should taste. :) I took a couple suggestions from the ppl on here and used 1/2 kraft cheddar and 1/2 kraft american cheese... and cooked it at 350, covered the dish as well when I baked it. Turned out great!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
My family loved it! I took the suggestion of other people and used chicken broth instead of water and I used a 16 ounce can I believe it was of biscuits. Just the right amount! I saw some ppl said to put the chicken in frozen, but I put it in right outa the fridge and it turned out wonderfully. Moist. My fiance was VERY impressed.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
I really loved this recipe. I didn't leave my bread out to make bread crumbs so I didn't use that, but it really turned out great. My husband and older kids didn't like it all that much just because it doesn't taste like traditional mac and cheese, but my 9 month old and I ate it all up. :)
