Superb Sauteed Mushrooms
My husband and I have made this exactly as written and also used a mix of different kinds of mushrooms. So, so YUMMY! I also wish people would NOT rate a recipe they haven't even tried to make yet! So Annoying! To the “Pro” who simply wrote “Who in the world uses COOKING WINE?”... I guess you felt the need to write that just to be rude since your “review” didn’t mention actually trying the mushrooms at all.

Dynamite Bourbon Ribs
Okay, as a marinade, this recipe was perfect, however, as afficiionados of the low and slow method of cooking, we made a change... After soaking in the bourbon mix for a couple of hours, we put the ribs on indirect heat for an hour at lower temps. We then wrapped them in foil and added some of the leftover marinade to the foil to let them steep for a while, (another 45 minutes or so). Final step, pour over the last remnants of the marinade on the ribs, put on direct heat for a few minutes per side to add sizzle. They will fall off the bone and melt in your mouth...

Vodka Sauce
This ia a terrific sauce. The prosciutto makes the difference, giving a rich meaty flavor. I keep the pepper flakes and vodka at the same level, but skip the salt altogether since the prosciutto brings in enough by itself. I also run it through a blender at the end to smooth it out.
