Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Very forgiving recipe--my favorite kind! I substituted oatmeal for some of the flour, used yogurt rather than applesauce, chopped some fresh cherries instead of blueberries and shredded some carrot in there and added raisins. Turned out beautifully. You could do a lot with this recipe.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

These are very good, crispy in edges and soft in middle. But in Denver and at higher altitudes, I recommend using butter flavor Crisco instead of butter, and reducing temperature to 350 degrees for 9.5 minutes cook time.
