World's Best Pumpkin Pie
This recipe is great! I followed it exactly, making two pies. It's easy to make and almost all the ingredients are already in the cabinet. Though, I have to admit as many others have, that it is too sweet (in addition to a lot of filling)! I will definitely be cutting down on the sugar. I always appreciate reviews that follow the recipe exactly first before adjusting measurements to their tastes. As I have followed the recipe, I hope I can spare my thoughts on it. I am definitely one with a sweet tooth and this recipe calls for too much sugar.

Haitian French Toast
2 stars because the taste of the batter was not bad BUT DO NOT LET YOUR BREAD SOAK into the mixture. The bread gets fried soggy regardless if it is fully cooked in the pan. Did not enjoy it because of that. I've had better french toast. My suggestion would be to only dip it so that it is just battered enough to be fried on the pan. I'm still looking for a good recipe.

Simple Country Ribs
This turned out only okay. Made it last night and they were a bit bland and dry but it may have been due to the fact that I didn't constantly baste them while they cooked in the oven!!! I followed the reviewer on cooking them in the oven because I didn't have a grill. Thus, I didn't even give a second thought to adding any more sauce. Silly me! Next time will try adding sauce at the last 15 minutes of cooking time. Hope this helps.
