Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
This recipe has a solid foundation but I think it could be improved. I followed all the directions except I used fresh mushrooms (I hate the canned ones) and I cooked it in a crock pot instead. I feel the amount of sauce was perfect but needed a little more flavor and could be a little more creamy. I think next time I make it I will use milk instead of water. So it has more flavor I will add garlic and paprika or mustard powder might work too. Using those improvements I will make it again. This would be great with rice too.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
I doubled all the spices expect the salt on the chicken breasts because it wasn't enough. The extra garlic powder masks the flavor of the other spices so I will leave it out next time. Lastly it was a little too sour for my taste so I will decrease the amount of lime juice to two tablespoons next time.

This filling is very rich. The next time I make it I will layer it in individual cups using whip cream and oreo cookies.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2013
I made this recipe with some small changes. Instead of using garlic powder I added one tsp. minced garlic in the marinade. This is a great idea for someone who prefers fresh garlic to the powdered. I used regular pepper on the salmon and to get the lemon taste I added one tbs. of lemon juice to the marinade.

Lemon-Lime Chicken Broil

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2014
This was a nice quick and simple dish to make. I only marinated the chicken for 20 minutes and I am glad I did because if I did it for longer I think it would come out too sour.

The best recipe I've ever gotten from this website. The only thing I did different is take out the rosemarybecause I don't care for it.

Barbequed Steelhead Trout

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I baked this in the oven for about 15 minutes at 450 degrees F. The amount of barbeque sauce was just perfect. I hate eating any sort of meat where its swimming in barbeque sauce to the point that's all you can taste. This recipe is not like that at all. Tasty.

Foil Barbecued Trout with Wine

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I used this recipe on Steelhead (which is just trout that's spent time in saltwater). The flavors were light and subtle so the fish was the real focus. I used a Pinot Grigio wine and baked it in the oven instead at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes. Healthy and simple to make.

Aunt Jules' Balsalmic Chicken with Peppers

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I really liked this recipe. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star is because I feel the chicken breast should be marinated in balsamic vinegar for at least 4 hours if not preferably overnight. By doing this the chicken would be more tender and moist. Besides having more flavor.

Barbeque Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2014
I made it as is and the sauce was too thin. Next time I will leave out the water. I think it could use some garlic for flavor and cornstarch to make it thicker. By doing that I think it will turn out perfect.

Needed a little salt and pepper. Next time I will bake or fry it. I like browning my meat a little bit. Besides that it was prefect.
