Oh my goodness, thank you for this recipe. My husband is in love with these! I substituted semi-sweet chocolate chips with milk chocolate chips instead (always yummier, imo). A couple things I'll remember for next time: 1. Even though it seems like too much in the batter, use the full 2 cups of choco chips. I only used 1 1/2 cups and the finished cookies could have used the extra 1/2 cup. 2. I'll probably baked them a bit longer than 17 mins for a crunchier cookie. 3. They turn out better if you smooch them a little with your hand, rather than leave it as a heap or ball. Overall, this is a perfect cookie recipe and I will definitely make them again.
