Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
Easy recipe that kids or adults enjoy. I also used regular milk but only 1/4 cup. In a separate pan I heated frozen corn, peas and onions with a TBLS of butter and salted. To the noodles I added Velveeta instead of shredded cheddar, cut into chunks. Mixing 2 cans of tuna instead of one then topping off with 1/4 tsp of onion powder. I mixed everything together but the noodles really good; then added the noodles hot to help melt the cheese. After it had baked at 350 for 20 min covered with tin foil. I topped with casserole cheese from Kroger Then put the crushed chips on top and let it go uncovered until the cheese melted. My kids love it when daddy cooks this comfort food...lol

Mexican Lasagna Rollups

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
Our family loves this recipe! We have made it several times, with even our picky girls coming back for more! We have typically made it as directed, but tonight tried something a little different, and it turned out fabulous! We only used 1/2 lb ground beef, and replaced the other half with: around a cup of corn (frozen) and a cup of green pepper (chopped/frozen). We cooked it then added it in after the taco seasoning to the ground beef. It gave the dinner an extra vegetable, and a little added variety! Overall, this is a wonderful dinner, we make it about 1-2 times a month! Thank you for the recipe!

Broken Glass Candy

This recipe turned out awesome! The hints to give are... Stir until it starts to boil up then stop. Keep the sugar off the bottom of the pot. The wait between hard ball and 290 can be quick pay attention then don't let it get over 300 F. Do not turn up the heat it will get there. The name brand oil is called LorAnn. Use a sifter to generously put powdered sugar on pans.

Asparagus, Chicken, and Pecan Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Awesome! Absolutely the best dish we have made from this site. I would not change anything. Next time I might try breaking the pecans up so that I get more in every bite. Also we roasted the pecans in the oven before adding them but it would be good even without the nuts.

This was excellent. We followed the recipe exactly. Not sure if the sun dried tomatos were to be marinated in oil but the ones I bought were. We also used bay scallops

Jenn's Chicken Parmesano Supreme

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
The whole family enjoyed this dish. I put the dressing right on the chicken before adding sauce. It adds a lot of flavor. I also used a recipe for the sauce from this site recommended by users. It was very good to serve with spaghetti under it and it went farther that way. I fed 7 people and I had seconds :)
