Good recipe, if extremely fattening :)

Convenient Vegetarian Lasagna

A great recipe, although I did scale it down a bit. You don't need quite as much riccota cheese or lasagna noodles. Also, I used a frozen bag of california blend vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) and that worked great.

Nut Glazed Brie served with Crackers

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2003
This is a very yummy recipe. I didn't have a wheel of brie, so ended up just using a wedge and it got a little too melted, but my guests loved it just the same.

A truly wonderful recipe! The fresh ground ginger makes it.

Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
Pretty good recipe. I actually used low fat cream cheese and homemade whipped cream.

These are just as good and as simple to make as they sound. I topped them with a cream cheese frosting. Delicious!

Wild Rice Soup III

Really nice soup recipe. I gave it four stars because I think it needs a little extra spice to really make it shine. Great base recipe though.

Baked Chicken Breasts Supreme

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
Solid recipe. I didn't bother marinating the chicken overnight (didn't realize that was a step until it was too late) and it still came out fine.

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
I have to agree with the poster who said this wasn't much on it's own, but is a good base recipe. I also added brown sugar, nutmeg and cayenne pepper. I liked it a lot but my husband thought it was just so-so.

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Really good! I mixed all the ingredients together instead of layering them. I also used 1 cup reduced fat cheddar and 1/3 cup feta cheese, just because I had it and wanted to use it up. I'll definitely make this again.

Easy Italian Sausage Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This isn't a bad recipe - I just think maybe it would work better in a smaller pan, since you do run out of sauce before the top layer. However, it's still a good way to make a quick and easy lasagna.

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
I followed the other reviewers' advice and cut the flour in half. I also cut the recipe in half and baked it in an 8x8 dish. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe. It's extremely yummy.

Kansas City Steak Soup

Excellent recipe. I didn't add the tomatoes and cooked it in the crock pot, adding the butter and flour near the end. Oh I also added some cooked potatoes.

I like this better than most commercially prepared hummus. I LOVE garlic and this has quite a zip with that much in it. Really good.

Quick Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
This is a nice and quick version of chicken parmesan that doesn't include the breading. I marinated the breasts in Italian dressing for a little more flavor, and I used shredded mozarella because that's what I had. This is a good recipe for a quick and easy dinner.

Split Pea Soup with Rosemary

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
LOVED this soup. I used already cooked bacon, dried rosemary (1/4 tsp) and omitted the leek. I dumped everything in the crock pot for about 6 hours - 5 on low and the last on high. And it's excellent. So great because I never have a ham bone but I always have bacon on hand.
