Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2014
We loved this, however,it was a bit greasy for us and next time I'll cut back on the sausage I substituted and also the pepperoni....will definitely adjust the ingredients next time. I also used penne as we aren't fans of egg noodles.

This was just ok for us. If I, make it again I'll have to tweak it quite a bit.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2014
We really liked the cobbler, but like other reviews, the "cobbler" part is a bit biscuit-y. That being said everyone enjoyed it and fresh peaches are the key. I think it could have used a little more spices and topping for us......will definitely tweak it a bit next time for our taste.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
This was by far the best way we have found to prep a turkey for cooking. We only brined the turkey for about 18 hours, but next time will definitely do it for at least 24...Overall very good recipe.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
The flavors were great. Even the hubby and child liked the flavors, they just weren't sold on the texture of the quinoa. The only modification I did was add only 1 can of black beans. and next time I will add more colorful veggies to the mix. I only cooked mine a total of 20 min. at 12-15 I added the corn and can of black beans and heated them thru. Overall a very good recipe base. Thanks

Hush Puppies II

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
I made several modifications to this recipe. First I used a 6oz pack of cornbread mix and added enough self-rising flour to equal 2 cups total. I added 1/4 cup onions and 1 jalepeno to the mix. I then added some garlic powder, cumin and chili powder and then followed the recipe the rest of the way. It is very important to let this sit for at least the 10 minutes before cooking. The hushpuppies came out light and fluffy..YUMMY

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
Loved the cauliflower...I added more seasonings and a little more garlic, but the cauliflower was sooo good. We will definitely be making this again.
