Quick Pork Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2014
This is the best pork fried rice I have ever made or eaten. I left the red peppers out because no one in my family likes it. But, otherwise did not change a thing.

Individual Baked Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2012
I just did a trial run of these to see if I want to make them for a Christmas Brunch. And absolutely am I making these! Only thing I added was salt and pepper before putting in oven. And I used the precooked bacon slices from Costco which makes it even easier. Delicious and easy. Thanks for a great recipe!

Three Bean Salad I

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
This is the best three bean salad I've ever tasted. I did leave out the green peppers because I felt this salad just didn't need it. I served it at my Memorial Day get together and it got lots of compliments.

Easy Spiced Brown Rice With Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This is a great recipe for brown rice which, I think, can tend to be rather dull, otherwise. The only changes I made was to lightly brown the rice in the olive oil before adding the rest of the ingredients. I followed others' advice and used chicken stock in place of the water. I also did not have cilantro, so I didn't use it. I used frozen peas instead of corn and used ground cumin. I know I made quite a few changes, but it turned out so delicious. I am sure I will use this recipe frequently when making brown rice.

Thanks for this recipe. I've been looking for one that compares with the salsa verde at our favorite burrito joint, and this one is it.

Country House Bed and Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
Made this for a house-ful of people and everyone loved it. Only change I made was to use day old french bread cut into chunks instead of the croutons.

Wonderful Chicken Curry Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
WONDERFUL! They aren't kidding. I made this for my daughters' first communion luncheon and everyone commented on it and wanted the recipe. Only change I made was substituting celery for the chutney. Don't know where to find chutney, but it tasted so good without it I don't care where you find chutney.

Saucy Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Pretty good recipe. I used mozzarella instead of cheddar and sprinkled it on before putting the sauce on the chicken. I found that there is no need to precook the asparagus or chicken. They both turn out perfect by adding about 10 minutes to the bake time.

Cracker Pork Chops

These pork chops were very tasty. I didn't make the gravy, because no one in my family cares for it. I will definitely make these again.

Very good marinade. Did a great job of tenderizing a steak that is inherently tough.

Spanish Garlic and Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2003
This soup has a very nice texture. It actually looks like mashed butternut squash when it's done. I needed to add two teaspoons of salt and half teaspoon of pepper, and I discovered that a little sprinkling of ground allspice as it is served makes it just perfect.

Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2002
This recipe is great! It is super easy and I like the fact that it doesn't have the heavy ingredients (cream, butter, cheese)that so many potato recipes have. Plus it is so flavorful.
