Chocolate Almond Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
This was really easy to make. I added way too much chocolate. My fault not the recipe. I will cut back next time and there will be a next time. I liked it better cold than warm. But I usually don't like warm pudding.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This cake is wonderful. I did have to bake it for 1-1/2 hours but I put it in the freezer when it was done like the recipe stated. It was a big hit at dinner last night. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Kentucky Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
This was absolutely delicious. I have never been fond of banana pudding but my husband likes it and he wanted me to make it for dessert for our New Years day dinner. I doubled the recipe and added a dash of banana flavoring when I added the vanilla. The pudding was so creamy. I will be making this again you can bet. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.

Italian Vegetable Soup

This was a delicious full soup. I didn't have any macaroni so I used whole wheat shells instead. Looking forward to the left overs for lunch and possibly another dinner.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2011
I had a couple of small zucchinis that I needed to use and so I tried this recipe. It was absolutely delicious. I used some homemade applesauce instead of oil and I used a 9 X 9 pan because the batter didn't look like enough for a bigger pan. Even my husband liked this. The only complaint I have is that the frosting is gritty but I think that has more to do with the kind of coco that I used. I will definitely make this again.

Tomato Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
This was absolutely delicious. I used a quart of my home canned whole tomatoes, and a half of a chopped onion. I sauteed the onion in the butter until soft and then added the tomatoes juice and all. I smashed the tomatoes with a spoon. I only used a teaspoon of sugar and one cup of fat free half and half. Two cups would have been too much. I used my immersion blender to make it a smooth texture and added a can of tomato sauce. I served it for lunch and hubby and I agreed it was better than the stuff in the can. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
These were very good. My husband doesn't like anything hot so I cut the cayenne to just a smidgen and I didn't toss the wings in the hot sauce. I only had time to leave in the frig for an hour but they still turned out. My husband says for me to make all my chicken like this. I will be using this recipe more often. The sauce was delicious. I used Franks mildest sauce and put them on mine. Can't wait to serve these to my sons.

Summerly Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
OMG this was awesome! I never liked squash before but this was soooo delicious. My neighbor gave me some summer squash today and I looked to this sight for a recipe to fix some for dinner. I made it as written except I didn't have any zucchini so I used all summer squash and I added some fresh garlic. I will be making this again and again and again.

Creamy Shell Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
I am in the process of making this salad for the second time. The first time I made the only thing I did different was to decrease the vinegar to one tablespoon and I used whole wheat pasta shells. My daughter really liked this salad. She is recovery from colon surgery and she would get up in the middle of the night to eat some before she took her pain medication. She asked me to make it again today because she missed having last night. We will have it for dinner and she will snack on the leftovers for the next few days. This is a great tasting salad. I think I prefer this dressing to what I had been using in my other pasta salads. I did increase the seasonings this time around but used the same amount of mayo and ranch dressing. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

These were delicious. I took another viewers suggestion and increased the peanut butter and decreased the butter. I also doubled the recipe.I mixed together peanut butter and milk chocolate chips and sprinkled those on the top before baking. My guests went crazy over them. I will be making these again that is for sure.

I used dry parsley instead of fresh and kielbasa instead of hot dogs and half Swiss and half Cheddar. The flavor of the sauce was great. Will be making this again that is for sure. It's Chili by George!!

I had this recipe in my box for a long time but I never tried it until now. This was great. I did two things differently. I used one pound of hamburger instead of two and I added a can of dice green chilies. This will be my go to recipe from now on. I am going to use the leftovers for chili dogs tonight. YUM YUM

Chicken in a Pot

This was very good. I used a spaghetti sauce that I had in the freezer from the last of our garden tomatoes. I served it with brown rice. Even my husband enjoyed it. Simple recipe to make when you don't have a lot of time.

New Mexico Green Chile Breakfast Burritos

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
I wanted something different for breakfast this morning so I tried this recipe. These were wonderful. My husband ate two and that is unusual. I reduced the serving size to three because there is only the two of us. The only thing I did different was to use Ortega canned chillies because that is what I had on hand. I used my hand blender to smooth out the sauce because I don't like chunks of onion and thickened the sauce more. I will be making these again for sure.

This was a great tasting sauce. I had a bunch of Roma tomatoes from my garden and I just put them in the food processor and used them instead of the canned tomatoes. I used the sauce to make lasagna and OMG it was incredible. I will be making this sauce from now on. Thanks for sharing.
