Really, really good! Such great flavor! I baked the chicken instead of frying it, so it didn't come out as crunchy as I would have liked. Will fry next time!

Mom's Best Macaroni Salad

This was amazing!! I used 1/2 the sugar, and probably won't use any next time since the condensed milk adds enough sweetness on its own. My mother-in-law even liked it and said she wanted the recipe!!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Incredibly easy to make! I mixed the spices the night before, and the next morning before work put everything in the crockpot as directed, took just a few seconds! Came home to a great smelling house, and a tasty sandwich! I did shred the meat 8 hours in and then cooked it for another 2-3 hours.

Brown Sugar Smokies

These are a hit every time! I probably use way more brown sugar then the recipe calls for. I do put them together the night before, and soak them in brown sugar. Then I put them on a plate with lots of paper towel and microwave them for a minute or two. Next I put them on a wire cooling rack that is sprayed with cooking spray over a foil lined baking sheet, use the brown sugar marinade from the overnight soak and coat them, and then bake them for 5-10 minutes. Then I switch the oven to broil, and broil both sides until the bacon is nice and crispy! It is a bit time consuming, but I hate under cooked bacon and always get loads of compliments. I also serve it with with the dipping sauce someone else suggested - 1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup red chili sauce, and a 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Make this ahead of time too so that the sauce has time to meld together. And you may have to coax people into trying the sauce, but the combination is to die for!

Baked Ziti I

OMG, I am so full, this is so amazing!! DO NOT replace with ricotta! The sour cream and provolone give it a unique taste that is so much better! I used mild Italian sausage, and added some garlic and Italian seasoning to the meat, and I couldn't be happier!! Will definitely use this recipe again and again!

Blackened Chicken Alfredo Pizza

I had some leftover alfredo sauce from a previous meal and this was a perfect way to use it. It was my first attempt at blackening chicken, so next time I will try to blacken the chicken a little longer, but it still tasted great. I also cheated and used already made dough. It got the ok from my husband which is hard to do!

For some reason I could only taste salt, salt, and more salt on these when they were done. I love salt, but even for me it was too much! Will try again with less salt next time and I'm sure they will be great!
