Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
We loved this recipe. Thank you for sharing it! This is how we altered it and made it delish for my family. I DO NOT add water, I also use LESS apples because my family likes the "Crisp" aspect and not a lot of apples. - Just their preference. So I use enough apples to BARLEY cover the bottom of pan. For the crisp topping I DOUBLE the ingredients, giving it plenty of crisp to cover the apples and pan completely. When I make this dish my family finishes it off in one day and wants another made soon! Even my 3 year old LOVES it!!!

Mama's Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
After a looong day of picking berries this is by far the easiest cobbler recipe to throw together! This is so yummy, we have to pick enough to make two. They just don't last in our house!! I have 3 requests today to make cobbler and this recipe is the one I have used for years and years and people just LOVE it! Mouth watering yummy!

Best in Show Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
Just about to try this after it cools just a little more. Not sure what I did wrong though, I checked the cobbler about 35 minutes into baking and was horrified to see the water was now on the bottom of the pan and the cobbler mix and berries were above it.....I took my spoon and tried to mix things together, cooked for an additional 20 minutes....Looks good now, and smells yummy. Will try again regardless! If its award winning, then I'm pretty sure it was my errors! hahah

Carrot, Potato, and Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
This recipe has been in our family for years. It sounds like it wouldn't be yummy, but trust me, it is super easy and delish! My kids love it and when I make it, each time I make it a little bit bigger so everyone can have left overs the next day for lunch. This is a recipe staple in our home.(I do not blend mine, we like it hearty and our recipe looks just like picture number three)

Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
Family LOVED it, even my picky eater! I tripled the mixture and held back 2.5 tbsp sugar, it was perfect! This ends up being a unique sauce, making the chicken super tender and perfect served over rice. This will be on our menu now, thank you for taking the time to share!
