High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Wow - I was so leery about attempting this recipe, but it turned out great! The meat was so tender and juicy. I just rubbed on Montreal Steak Spice and stuck the roast in the oven as I was getting ready to go out. Then I turned off the oven before I left to do some errands, and came home to a perfectly cooked roast. Plus, there were plenty of yummy juices in the pan to make some really great gravy. I will definitely be using this method to cook my roasts now! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Great apple crisp! Just what I was looking for. When there is a crust on the bottom (or middle) as well as the top, our family has always referred to it as "Brown Betty" instead of "Apple Crisp" (which has crust on the top only). I was actually looking for a Brown Betty recipe when I found this one, so it was perfect. It was very sweet, but very yummy, and so quick and easy to make. I made it for company tonight and it was a hit. I've added it to my recipe collection and will definitely use it again. Thanks!
