Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

LOVE IT!!! I tweeked it a little bit - I LOVE chunky soups with lots of veggies, so I used FOUR cups celery, 2 or 3 cups shredded carrots, and 2 cups onion, as well as 3 cloves of garlic. I used only FOUR cups Chicken Broth from a box, TWO cups of drippings (I crock pot roasted the chicken and used the drippings), and four cups water. When much of the liquid boiled down, I added one to two more cups of water. It took about 30 mins to get all of the extra veggies soft. Then I added 1 can of CREAM OF CHICKEN soup with another cup of water instead of the starch/water mixture. Added chicken and noodles and let simmer. I only used 1 1/2 tsp of salt (as others suggested) and I added black pepper for a kick. DELICIOUS !!!

Simple Salisbury Steak

I made changes as well, thanks to the reviews. It turned out beautifully! I substituted soy sauce due to not having browning sauce. I doubled the milk, as someone suggested, for more gravy. I also did not use 1/4 can of soup on meat mixture; I put it all in the gravy. Last, I did not have the fresh mushrooms, and I substituted onion (we love onions)! And I added garlic (I always do). Served with baked potatoes (and gravy), brussell sprouts (using "roasted brussels sprouts" recipe from this website), and broccolli w/cheese. Delicious!!!

Hard Taco Shells

To keep the shape, I put a toothpick through the top of the shell until it cools. (I don't have any racks to hang the shells like others.) Thanks! Great taste! I am picky about homeade shells and these are delicious! I prefer corn.

Chicken and Black Bean Chili

Delicious! I made a few adjustments according to other people's reviews. I omitted the corn, added a can of diced tomatoes with green chile peppers. I used 3 cups of chicken broth total, instead of water. I like the chili chunky! I also added fresh garlic and a few tablespoons of salt. No chipotle pepper, just two tbsp of chili pepper instead. I only used one can of black beans, no kidney beans. Topped with sour cream and cheese and served with tortilla chips ... Yum yum!
