I am an avid horse owner and rider. I have dreams to go to an equestrian college after I graduate from HS. I love Jesus Christ, he is my best friend and Savior. Other than cooking my interests are running, sports, music, and drawing.
My favorite things to cook
HEALTHY-gluten free, dairy-free (I have a sensitivity to too much lactose), sprouted grains, natural sugar substitutes. I love thai but haven't done a lot of cooking it. Mediterranean, salads, soups, pretty much anything fresh and healthy. :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am known for making cheesecakes, although I have not yet mastered the cooking process to keep them from cracking.
My cooking triumphs
Granola! I finally made a batch that was crunchy, tasty, and fresher than storebought.
CHEESECAKES!! (I have yet to make one that doesn't crack lolz).
I made Thanksgiving dinner remade healthy and it was good!! I made a bone-in turkey breast in the slow cooker and my parents agreed that it was the best, most juiciest and tender turkey they've ever had! Yah!
IDK, lots of triumphs!! :)
Everyday Food magazines are the BEST magazine subscriptions (after horse stuff :) you could ever get. They are chok full of great recipes, ideas, and lots of information about cooking your favorite fruits, vegetables and other foods.
My cooking tragedies
My first pie: I forgot to poke holes and it sunk! Although it still tasted okay.
I've made some things that were healthy that were OK in my standards, but my parents could just about spit them out!!! lolz
