Pad Thai

I doubled the sauce as other reviews suggested & still thought this was a bit dry. The flavor was close to restaurant pad thai, but seemed to be missing something. It was fun trying a thai recipe though, so thanks!

House Fried Rice

The only meat I used in this rice was chic. I used mushrooms instead of peppers. Since the sesame oil is so potent, I'll use 1/2 sesame and 1/2 EVOO next time. Thanks for a great base recipe that I can change around depending on what's in the frig.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

My daughter just graduated from Army basic training & from the beginning of her 10 wks in basic, she wanted me to bring her a pineapple upside down cake. Out of all of the recipes for it, I'm so glad I chose this one. It was moist and delicious & above all else, my new Soldier loved it!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Authentic, No Shortcuts, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Yum! I used dried black beans instead of red, 1/2 stock & 1/2 water and doubled the spices & this still turned out awesome! Thanks for an easy and great recipe.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

While this is a tasty recipe, it isn't jambalaya. The flavors made a nice semi-cajun meal, but the only heat that came from it was from the andouille. This recipe is a good stepping stone to a real Louisiana treat. Thanks for sharing.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Tasty recipe. I doubled the recipe and added fresh mushrooms and onion soup mix since I omitted the salt. Since I couldn't find golden mushroom soup (and didn't want to shop around for it), I used cream of mushroom soup instead and it still turned out great. SOO easy to make - and the aroma throughout the house was awesome! Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Potato Casserole

I halved the recipe, but other than that, made it as written. It's a good base recipe, but felt like something was missing. Next time I make it, I'm going to add more bacon and pepper & throw in mushrooms...and will omit the mayo and just use sour cream. Thanks!

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

These tomatoes were awesome! Instead of using dried oregano, I used fresh basil & they turned out great! Next time I think I'm going to omit the olive oil since the cheese has enough oil to flavor them nicely. We ate these on club sandwiches and it added such delicious flavor! Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

I must have done something wrong, because after 1.5 hours of cooking, the bottom half of my bread was still mushy. Luckily the top half was great! I used one of my grandma's old glass bread pans....maybe that was the issue?

Oregano Chicken

Good recipe. The chicken didn't require the whole 30 minutes to bake, so next time I'll only cook it for 20-25 minutes. I tossed bow tie pasta in the marinade after the chicken was finished & it turned out great! Thanks!!
