Cola Easter Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2014
Have done a ham for several yrs , all I do is add a can of coke, cook slow on low heat 300degrees, for several hrs. Ham will melt in your mouth! If you do not like your ham to fall apart then don't use this recipe! The trick to a good ham is the brand of ham you use. The only ham I ever use is a boneless Superior Ham ! I sometimes have to go as far as another town to find one, but it makes all the difference! They usually run about 12 to 20 pounds each, but you can always have it cut in two pieces and freeze half for another day. tmangirl

Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2013
Yes it is a good cake , but if you want an even better cake add 1 cup of drained crushed pineapple, and instead of 1 teas of vanilla, use 1/2 teas of vanilla and 1/2 teas of almond. Definately fills up 3 9" pans.I used Pam spray and also floured pans and had no trouble with them sticking to the pan. I let them cool 5 min in pan and then removed them, cooled them on baking racks until ready to icing.Sometimes sitting your cake pan in ice water helps relieve the sticking in the pan problem.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2013
First time with this recipe. My husband loved it. I took the advice of another reader and used the crushed tortilla chips and the taco seasoning mixed together to cover the chicken. I used olive oil instead of butter. Will be making this again.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
Great Bread pudding. I also added a few items to make it a little different. I added 1/4 c of dried cranberries and 1/2 c of coconut. It was a hit. Next time I will add a few walnuts as well. I used French bread instead of the reg day old bread. Perfect way of getting rid of bread but still having a wonderful dessert. My husband is a big fan of bread pudding.Took it to a card party everyone loved it.

Vanilla Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
Great easy recipe for vanilla sauce. If you want the thicker sauce follow other remarks about adding 2 T of cornstarch to 1 c of water.

This was a fabulous recipe. I do like my tuna a little more done than this recipe said to cook. I just placed mine in the oven for approx 18 mins,on 350 after pan frying it as recipe said to do and it was great. I didn,t change any items out. It was perfect!!! Will make again.
