This is the first and last tiramisu recipe I will ever use. I just made it for the 2nd time, with the recommendation of increasing the coffee/rum mix. The first time I just kind of poured that mix on a bowl of lady fingers and had some soaked and some without any. This time I tried to pour more evenly, with 3 times the mixture. Also, as someone else noted, you need the soft/squishy lady fingers, which I was able to find at a local Italian grocery. Also, as others noted, it really does taste better if you refrigerate for at least 24 hours before eating. My boyfriend likes desserts that aren't very sweet, and this has gotten the stamp of approval from him!
