Mozzarella Basil Bread

I give this a 4 star for taste. I should've read more reviews first. I used about 4 1/2 cups flour, it didn't seem enough but I didn't want to overdo the flour. I seem one review that suggested up to 5 1/2 cups. I might try this again using that much flour. As is, the dough is very sticky. The outside of the bread cooked up, but the inside was still a little wet.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

I've tried many different snickerdoodle recipes over the years and finally gave up. Till today, I decided to give one more try and settled on this recipe. These turned out pretty good, so far the best snickerdoodles recipe that I've tried. Will be making again.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

These really were easy and melt in your mouth. The only problem I had was that the dough didn't come out like cookie dough, it was all crumbly, I had to use my hands to knead it together, then rolled them up into balls. Directions said to beat for 3-4 mins. I probably only did that for 2, so I don't know if thats what the problem was. Either way it was still easy, and will definitely be making it again.

Egg Custard Pie III

This wasn't too bad. I give it a 4 star because of potential. I read some reviews and followed some suggestions, used only 3/4 cup sugar, and only 1/4 tsp nutmeg. I'm glad I cut the sugar down, it was the right amount. I thnk that the 1/4 tsp nutmeg still was a bit much, the nutmeg stands out too much. I will probably make this again, but either cut out the nutmeg, which I think would even be good..or just just barely a pinch so that it would be only a small hint of it.

Pan De Sal I

This is more a 3.5 stars. Mine turned out with a hard crust all around. I actually liked the hard crust, but it wasn't what I was looking for in a pan de sal. Followed directions exactly, maybe bake at a lower temperature? I might try this again.

Butternut Squash Bisque

Only change I made was I used chicken stock, I don't like vegetable stock. This was good, I probably only put about 1 tsp of salt at the beginning, definitely needs a little bit more, and a little something to make this great. Would probably make this again.

Roasted Garlic Soup

I'll give this a 4..but really want to just give it a 3.5. The only thing different was I did not use the lemon juice, and used only 1/4 cup of the cream. Not sure if adding all the cream would make the difference, but reading some of the reviews I decided not to use the full amount. I also used an immersion blender and I liked the texture/consistency.

Cinnamon Graham Crunchy Cookies

I really wanted to give this a 3 star, but I didn't think it was fair since I didn't add a few things. I just made a "plain" cookie, did not add the chocolate chips or the nuts. I thought they were just ok, but everyone else just raved about them.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

4 star based on my changes. After reading some of the reviews first, I also decreased the butter to 1/2 cup, and sugar to 1/2 cup. It could be just a little sweeter, so maybe next time put more sugar.

I hate to give this a bad review, but sorry, this was not good at all. I don't know if it was because of the one little change I made. Instead of the lemon zest I put in about 1/4 tsp lemon extract. To make 50, they came out really small, after 35 mins they were really browned and overall just didn't taste good.

Pesto Chicken

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

This review is based on my changes. Was quick and easy and pretty good. I used low sodium soy sauce, added a couple dashes of liquid smoke, and left out the lemon juice. If I were to make this again though, I think I would use a little bit less of the dried basil. Maybe just 2 tbs.
