Impossible Buttermilk Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
This was very easy and pretty good. Only thing is I thought it was a bit sweet, might cut down the amount of sugar a little the next time.

Pear Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
This was awesome!! Brought it into work, a co-worker said this was probably the best thing I'd ever brought in. My only tip would be, definitely use a homemade crust, not one of those store bought frozen ones.

Lyonnaise Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
This was just ok. One tip though would be to bring the potatoes to boil and just let them sit in the water while preparing the onions, that way you won't have to bake longer. I think I'll just stick with scalloped potatoes, its easier (at least for me).

Ono Butter Mochi

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2007
This is really good. I did as some other reviewers, I used only 4 eggs. And used 2% milk because that's all I had. Will definitely be making it again.

Mexican Cornbread II

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2007
This was pretty good. I added the extra sugar that some suggested, but I didn't read directions carefully and didn't drain the can of green chiles. The cornbread came out a little bit soggy/moist because I didn't drain the chiles, but it was still pretty good.

Slow Cooker Chicken with Leek Soup Mix

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2007
This was pretty good. I used drumsticks because that'ts all I had on hand and it came out real moist, almost fall off the bone. The consistency reminded me of a chicken & dumpling, so next time I think I will add vegetables near the end and maybe throw on some dumplings.

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
This was really good, everyone loved it. To lower the fat a little, I used 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup applesauce. Plus I used 1% milk because thats all I have in the house. Will definitely make this again.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
This was easy and pretty good. I did as a couple reviewers suggested, used less salt (about 3/4 tsp, was still a bit salty), cut butter down to 2 tbsp. and used fat free canned soup. I like my hash browns crunchy so maybe next time I will put it under the broiler for a couple of mins.

Linnie's Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2007
This was easy, but was just ok. I don't know if it was because of the salsa I had used (mild black bean and corn salsa). I guess I'll try this again using a different salsa.

Hummus III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
this was a bit salty, but will still give it a 5 star. I will definitely make this again, but cut the salt down to probably 1/2 tsp. I also thought 1/4 cup of lemon juice seemed too much, so I cut it down to just 2 tbs.

Asian Style Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
This was pretty good with a few changes. I used low sodium soy sauce, and used all beef. I liked the taste of the ginger, may add more next time.

Yummy!! very easy. I half followed advise of another reviewer, halfway thru melting butter, I added in the peanut butter. I also half chunky and half creamy peanut butter. Will definitely make this again.

These were just ok. The "macaroon" part didn't come out as I had imagined it would.

This was ok. It was still too much just a "yellow cake" to me.

This was quick/easy, and very good. I only had 2% milk in the house and that worked fine too for this.

Did not care for the taste of this too much. Also I used extra oats like some people suggested and coated the baking pan, still stuck a little bit..

This was just ok. Reading some of the other reviews, I used only half a cup of dressing..still was a bit much, maybe 1/4 to 1/3 cup would be ok.
