Cheesy Breakfast Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
These were really good! I thought they were going to be bland and need ranch dressing or ketchup, but I ate two helpings without anything on it and was very happy with the taste.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
Good stuff! I used a larger amount of pork chops (what I had), but will double the gravy amount, no matter how much pork I use next time. The gravy is awesome!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
What a wonderful meatloaf! My family eats cheese like it is going out of style, so this was perfect! I did not have steak sauce, so I added BBQ sauce and Worchestershire sauce. Worked out wonderfully. The only problem I had was there wasn't enough! Next time I have to double the recipe! Thank you so much for sharing this one!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Wish they were a little more tender, but not bad for what they were. Maybe try it with something other than country style ribs...something with less fat.

Beef Tenderloin With Easy Cranberry Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
I didn't have fresh thyme, so I used dried. Was a little much, since I did the seasoning amount called for, but only have about 1 1/2 pounds tenderloin (we butcher our cattle much smaller...and we have Lowlines...so the cuts just aren't as big). Was really good, though. My husband said he could do without the thyme, but I think it was just that it was too much. I liked it! I cut the sauce recipe in half. The sauce was a great compliment to the tenderloin! Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Wonderful! I had started mixing the pumpkin, sugar, and spices for a pie and then realized I was out of evaporated milk. I scrambled for a recipe and found this one. Worked out great! I did have 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 of pumpkin already, and 2/3 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar, so I just used that and then 3 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice (since it was already in). Everything else I kept the same and it came out great! Even my husband, who doesn't compliment very many things actually complimented this one! It is definitely a bread, though; not sweet, so I had some cream cheese frosting on the side. Great recipe! Thank you!
