Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
Delicious! This was the recipe i have been looking for. Everyone who has had them asked for the recipe-though I'm not sharing--join Allrecipes :0) Baked good fresh from mixer and liked just the same if not more after freezing and serving later. Make sure you watch your first batch to see what it takes for your stove. For me it only took 8- 9 mins for them to be done when made straight from the mixer and 10 only if cooking from freezer to stove. They kept good and remained soft ( the 3 that lasted to see another day- because i hid them for myself). Also was forgiving being that i overbaked my very first batch...by not watching them and they still were semi soft. I used all brown sugar.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
Everyone enjoyed the pancakes. Had requests the next day to make them again. When heating my pan i heat it to water sizzles(on about a 5) once it gets to that point i bring the heat down to about a 3. That allowed me enough cook time on each side. If you cook on too high of a heat the outside will be burnt or very dark and the insides will be gooey(learned on first 2 pancakes). Made recipe as stated and added a teaspoon of vanilla. I only had enough for about 3-4 people at 2 pancakes a piece.

Loved it! I made this in icecream maker last week, every drop was eaten. Made it again on new years day in a double batch same result. Didnt have icing issue, but i froze mine with the container covered. Reminded everyone of Chick-filas icecream.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Very good. I would suggest trying your best to get potatoes that are medium size not too large(not very sweet) or too small( overly sweet). I processed my potatoes in the processor after baking( I hate strings). I put my pecans in the food processor making them very fine before mixing with the sugar topping, I also added an extra 1/4 cup of finely processed pecans to the sweet potatoes. I also sprinkled a few marshmellows on top. My guests went back for seconds and thirds. I was told that it was better than Boston Markets sweet potatoe cassarole!

Million Dollar Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Very Good! I didnt have a graham cracker crust just a regular deep dish frozen pie crust. I baked the empty 9 inch deep dish pie crust and filled it once it was completly cooled. Everyone enjoyed. I had the pie before with coconut in it but didnt have any on hand. I added 2 tsp of coconut rum cream liquer, and it gave it just the right amount of coconut essence without the coconut. I followed the directions as written, however I only used 8oz of whip cream, and as the pic shows i had a full pie.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
Very good! Saving as a fav. For anyone with issues with pie setting up if you boil the potatoes- let it cool completly before judging the pie. If you cut before it is completly cool you will think it will be a'loose' pie, but it wont be once it is finished. I usually make my pie the evening before i serve it, let it cool down on counter uncovered for 1 1/2 then cover and chill over night in fridge( dont stick in fridge or cover before that time, if you do the steam will be trapped on the wrapper, and water will drip back on the pie=soggy loose pie). When you cut it the next day it will be picture perfect. I also put the my potatoes in the processor after i boil them because i hate srings!
