If I could give this recipe 0 stars, I would. These were definitely NOT melt-in-your-mouth shortbreads. They are extremely flour-y tasting, with a texture of 2week old biscuit/raw butter. Dipped half in chocolate fudge, but still couldn't get over the plain, bad taste. After a night in the cookie jar, they were almost rock hard. And even for shortbread, they were just bland. Like compacted butter and flour. Was wary about not using confectioner's sugar in shortbread, however, I had none on hand and this was one of the few recipes found without the powder. Next time, I will just follow instinct and buy it instead of making inedible snacks. Now I just can't get over all the butter wasted :(

great, as far as the crepe itself goes. I did not make this sauce as I had a craving for chocolate and spread and drizzled Hershey's hot fudge over the whole thing, and crumbled a wheatmeal digestive biscuit over it. The sauce, however, does sound good and I will be trying it. But this crepe recipe beats the one I was using before, so 5 stars!

The BBQ sauce would have been enough to make these BBQ eggs. This is just too many seasonings for just plain old scrambled eggs. I'd rather have them plain, Not only do they taste better that way, they also don't look appetizing.

mmm...After reading reviews, it seemed this recipe would be dry and crumbly, I just wasn't feeling that this morning. So I halved the recipie, added about 1/2 Tb. extra butter (did not use margarine at all), splashed some milk into the egg before scrambling together (a little less than a 1/3 C.) and added just a splash of vanilla. It came out moist and deliciously. Like a brown sugar cinnamon oatmeal bar. mmm...5 stars after my mods.

Yeah, they're good. I wouldn't give it 4.5 stars though. I will be making them again though, and next time I'll use a butter-flavored shortening, and maybe add some butter. Also, the specification for thickness is all wrong if you want really fluffy biscuits. I halved the recipe and only got 3 biscuits out of it. (and they were an average Pillsbury size, I was hoping for bigger n fluffier). I also kneaded them MAYBE a total of 3 times...not the 10 stated...I imagine if I did they would have come out even worse.

Best pumpkin bread. hands down. Don't forget the chocolate chips if that's what you like! And I normally sprinkle pumpkin seeds over my loafs so they roast on top of the bread as it cooks. yummy yummy. This recipe makes a lot of it, too. And it just gets better the longer it sits !

Very good and very customizable. -1 star because the muffin itself is pretty dry, also I had to use just a little more milk to get the batter consistency right. I recommend using mini-muffin tins. However, this is where great recipes begin. A simple, easily customizable recipe with a simple, delectable flavor.

Great recipe. Mine would have come out perfect had I not been too lazy and poor to go to the store and pick up some cream of tartar. Instead I substituted Baking powder in place of the baking soda and cream of tartar. They tasted fine, I just prefer the texture of traditional snickerdoodles, cream of tartar and all. I made the crumb topping for these muffins with light brown sugar rather than white and I highly recommend it. The recipe is definitely 5 stars, just be sure to use fresh blueberries. Frozen ones don't even taste like blueberries when cooked in. And one more tip- the bigger the muffin tin, the better because these little hotties go fast!

Delicious. Tastes just like this restaurant in Boston. After reading reviews, I added a little more flour (I like thick chowder) and let the potatoes cook covered. My entire family ate this wanting seconds and thirds. Thank you for posting this!

Very, very good. Used spicy brown mustard because that's just what I like in egg salad sandwiches, other than that, followed recipe to T and I can say it's very, very good although uninspired as it's just basic egg salad with no extras. But still...perfect basic egg salad sandwich recipe. Try it with spicy brown!
