Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2012
Best granola ever! I've made this dozens of times, and have used slight variations each time. I like to use almonds only, no other nuts, I always use 1/2 C coconut oil and 1/2 C vegetable oil, and no brown sugar, it's just sweet enough with the maple syrup. Great recipe!

Pumpkin Wheat Honey Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This was super good, I thought it was a little too sweet, I might cut back the sugar next time. I used organic honey and fresh roasted pumpkin instead of canned, and added a bit more raisins. My 4 year old ate them up. :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
This is SUCH a great recipe, very easy to double if you need to make a big pot. Of course, I make a few adjustments like most everyone else does. I use chicken broth instead of water and add the bouillon, no salt, and I add a can of corn. I also find whole milk makes the soup taste so much richer than using 2% or nonfat.

Seven Minute Frosting I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2013
The absolute best frosting ever! My mom LOVES this frosting, and instead of vanilla extract, I added coconut flavoring, to go with the coconut cupcakes, and it was AMAZING. Can't say enough good things about this recipe :)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
Amazing recipe! I double the spices, added vanilla and also doubled the recipe and freeze the 5 loaves until I'm ready to give them as gifts for Christmas. I work at Starbucks and this is better than the pumpkin bread we sell! Thank you for the recipe!

Cranberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This was so so so so good! I brought a loaf to work and I didn't have a single piece left. Doesn't taste at all like zucchini, it was so moist and beautiful with the flecks of green and red. I used 1/2 c oil and 1/2 c applesauce, also used half white and half whole wheat flour. Next I'm going to try it with apples and cranberries. :)
