Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
This was delicious! However, let me just say that it's not for newbies. I am recently married, and I have very minimal cooking experience. Be sure that you watch this like a hawk if you put it in the crockpot. Also, DO NOT LEAVE THE CROCKPOT ON ALL NIGHT. It will scorch, burn, turn brown, etc. Be sure to follow directions to a 'T'. The second time I made it was much better! Delicious! Be patient when adding the thickening agent, because it will take a few minutes for the mixture to thicken.

Slow ' N' Easy Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
Delicious! This was easy to put together--and fed a family of 4 with leftovers for the next day. My only complaint is that it was too spicy for my taste. I don't like my nose to run while I am eating my dinner...and this sure made it run! Maybe use 1.5 packs of chili powder instead of 2. Otherwise, everyone loved it!

Shrimp Scampi I

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
Slightly too "shrimpy" tasting. Good, but you really need to cook the shimp in the oven about 10 minutes longer to get it done. The noodles needed A LOT of salt. The family loved it, though.

Delicious! I accidentally got shredded mozzarella, but it was great anyway. Very quick and easy to make! My family loves it, and asked for the recipe! I will definitely be making it again.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
Very tender and sweet. It tastes a lot like barbeque chicken. I liked it, but I don't know when I'll be making it again.

Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
Absolutely wonderful! I had enough left to take to work for lunch. Be sure to take the sausage out of the casing (a step I missed!). Cheesy and smells so great!

Rachel's Cranberry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Delicious! I made this on Sunday, and it was even better by Wednesday. I had it in a wrap and even by itself. I left the chicken & apples in chunks instead of grinding them down. I left out the onion to avoid bad breath! It was great, and I will make it again.

Chicken Bryan

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Delicious! I would use one lemon for the lemon butter sauce instead of two. The sauce was a little too tart. Very quick and easy to make! I will try this again.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Excellent flavor! Very easy to roll. I'm sure with more practice I can make it smoother...this was my first try. I'm not sure what consistency to make it in order for it to make shapes better.

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
Fudge filling was delicious! Be sure to have the ice cream cakes are completely frozen before you work with them, or they will ooze! Otherwise, very easy and quick and yummy! The fudgy filling tastes just like brownie batter withouth the egg!

Sour Cream Pumpkin Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
Tastes great! Needs more than 1/2 c of brown sugar for the streusel filling. You can substitute pumpkin pie filling for the all spice in the brown sugar. Be sure to make the glaze very thick, or it will run off the cake.

Cornbread Stuffing Southern Style

I browned it in the broiler for a few minutes, and I used red onion which gave it just a pop of color. I got lots of compliments on this dish at my office Thanksgiving dinner. Very yummy!

Bucket of Mud

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
I used two boxes of Jello brand Oreo pudding. I also added a small box of sugar free vanilla pudding to make it a little thicker. I lined the bottom of my pan with whole oreos instead of making the crust. I added whipped topping and cream cheese to the pudding mixture and then spread over the cookies. I topped that with broken cookies, then a layer of whipped topping, then another layer of cookies. I used 1.5 packages of oreos in all. YUMMY! Very thick and delicious!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Took much longer than 35 minutes to bake, and if you are using a glass pan, turn the heat down. Also, I couldn't find cinnamon chips, so I used white chocolate chips and sprinkled cinnamon on them. Very tasty!
