*5 stars the way I make it* I add extra potatoes because I like it chunkier, and although I like thick soups, half and half makes it WAY to thick, like sludge. Making it with regular milk thickens up perfectly with the flour. I use white pepper instead of black and I add some onion powder. I also reduce the amount of red wine vinegar. I have made it the other way, it was too thick, didn't have enough stuff in it, almost just pure sauce, and the red wine vinegar was over powering. The changes I make make sure it's gobbled up at my house.
