Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: May 13, 2001
We loved it but found that there was too much cream cheese, we cut the cream cheese down to one rather than two packages. Because some of my family doesn't like blueberries, we substituted blueberries with strawberries, which was great. Overall we would definately make this again.

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: May 8, 2002
took it to a family dinner and they ate it all. Everyone gave it a great review and I would definitely make it again. I actually added a whole container of the whipped topping (1L) and it worked out great would repeat that mistake again. update: I have made this recipe many times, i get requested to bring to showers all the time. I do make it differently when i take it to showers though, a couple of times I have made it with tarts shells and wow fantastic. Other times i put pieces of angel food cake in the bottom of mini tart paper mash it down like the recipe says and finish, usually i will pipe in the cream cheese mixture to make it look pretty, goes really good with blueberries and cherries as well as lemon pie filling

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2003
They were very good, but i found that they needed something but i don't know what. Maybe i'll use all butter instead of olive oil maybe that will help, but we will definitely be making this recipe again.

Mad Dogs

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2003
i like this recipe so did my neice, the only thing was that the bacon didn't get cripsy like i thought. It could be because i used thicker bacon, maybe next will use regular bacon. I did put it under the broiler for a few minutes and that did help but not to my moms liking but she likes her bacon really crispy. Diffinitely will do this again. thanks

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
very easy recipe to make, I didn't think it tasted much like an eclair but still none the less very very good. Whole family enjoyed it. I did put the vanilla cream in the fridge for about 10 minutes though and it helped it wasn't as runny. Will definitely make this again

Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2003
these were really good and simple to make, the only thing i would do different is make sure that the sheet that i cook them on is well greased with butter, i found that they stuck to it and i would salt the potaotes to give more flavor. but deffinitely a keeper

Cheddar Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2003
Awesome is the only thing i can say about this recipe. The only difference was that i used a ready made crust, but i want to try to blind bake it for about 5 minutes before i put the filling in it (the bottom was not crispy) but it was still very good. I also had some extra egg whites that i used, but it did make it so that there was too much filling which was ok as i was able to make a small crustless quiche with it. My whole family loved this quiche even my 8 year old neice that can be a bit picky.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2003
this recipe was really good, i didn't find it all that fluffy though. But it did have a different taste which was good. I also used the caramel sauce from the recipe carmelized french toast( also from this web site) turned out good. The only thing was that i found that it didn't make enough egg mixture, i don't know if i just soaked the bread too much or what so i needed another egg and such. Would definitely make this again but i will try adding some baking soda like some others have said.

Sesame Chicken Strips with Sweet Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2003
this was awesome, I did do a couple things different thought. Like some others i did add some water to the mayonaise and mustard so the coating was not as thick. I also used prepared mustard instead of dry mustard. Also some people did make the comment the the dipping sauce was bland, well that is the making of honey dill sauce all you need to do is cut back on the mayonaise add a little more honey and add some dill and it will be delicious thats what i did. FYI if you don't have the buttery round which i didn't one time that i made this, i used a combo of pretzel and corn flakes and i gave a awesome taste i have made this recipe several times already and i never seem to have the crackers. YUMMY!!!!!!!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2005
I have made this recipe many times and it turns out great everytime, my neice always asks for it. I use several different types of pork and they all work, I also just put it back in the slow cooker once i have shredded the pork and heat it up that way with the bbq sauce. I have also left some of the liquid in the pot as we don't like it too dry and it gives it a nice flavour but thats a personal taste on our part
