Peaches and Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2005
we all thoroughly enjoyed this recipe. I found that the peach layer didn't set up completely, could be that it didn't sit in fridge long enough or i didn't cook long enough. This recipe works well with lemon pudding and pie filling instead of the peached(skip the jello step and make 2 packages of lemon pie filling awesome) the only change i made was i used chopped almonds and 2 tbls of sugar instead. the other thing people could do with the cream cheese layer is use 2 pkg of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of whip cream, that works very well. will definitely be making this again, we also try with different fruit as well thanks again

We made this for Easter and everyone loved it, didn't have any pineapple juice so we used flavored orange juice was excellent. the one thing i really liked about this recipe is the it doesn't use whole cloves i hate digging them out of the ham. Excellent!!!!!

Strawberry Dream Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2005
This was very good you can't tell that i has jam in it. The one thing i would change is that i would fold in chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture and i would pour the sauce over the cut slices of pie instead of over the whole pie. I had found the sauce a little too runny, it could be that i blended it too much that or i would try to thicken it with some constartch. will be making this one again

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2005
I have made this recipe many times and it turns out great everytime, my neice always asks for it. I use several different types of pork and they all work, I also just put it back in the slow cooker once i have shredded the pork and heat it up that way with the bbq sauce. I have also left some of the liquid in the pot as we don't like it too dry and it gives it a nice flavour but thats a personal taste on our part

Sesame Chicken Strips with Sweet Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2003
this was awesome, I did do a couple things different thought. Like some others i did add some water to the mayonaise and mustard so the coating was not as thick. I also used prepared mustard instead of dry mustard. Also some people did make the comment the the dipping sauce was bland, well that is the making of honey dill sauce all you need to do is cut back on the mayonaise add a little more honey and add some dill and it will be delicious thats what i did. FYI if you don't have the buttery round which i didn't one time that i made this, i used a combo of pretzel and corn flakes and i gave a awesome taste i have made this recipe several times already and i never seem to have the crackers. YUMMY!!!!!!!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2003
this recipe was really good, i didn't find it all that fluffy though. But it did have a different taste which was good. I also used the caramel sauce from the recipe carmelized french toast( also from this web site) turned out good. The only thing was that i found that it didn't make enough egg mixture, i don't know if i just soaked the bread too much or what so i needed another egg and such. Would definitely make this again but i will try adding some baking soda like some others have said.

Cheddar Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2003
Awesome is the only thing i can say about this recipe. The only difference was that i used a ready made crust, but i want to try to blind bake it for about 5 minutes before i put the filling in it (the bottom was not crispy) but it was still very good. I also had some extra egg whites that i used, but it did make it so that there was too much filling which was ok as i was able to make a small crustless quiche with it. My whole family loved this quiche even my 8 year old neice that can be a bit picky.

these were really good and simple to make, the only thing i would do different is make sure that the sheet that i cook them on is well greased with butter, i found that they stuck to it and i would salt the potaotes to give more flavor. but deffinitely a keeper
