Most Requested Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

I made the recipe as is and found it to be absolutely wonderful. My husband asked how much ground beef did I use. He couldn't tell the difference. My own preference next time would be to use less hot sauce and maybe half it with BBQ sauce. Great recipe.

Deep Dish Layered Salad

This is a favorite. Everyone loved it and cleaned out the dish. One change I made was substituting fresh broccoli floweretts instead of peas. It was a big hit.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

It turned out wonderful. I used a 2 1/2lb rump roast and didn't change the proportions of the rest of the ingredients. I also cooked it, by mistake, on slow in the crock pot for 12 hours instead of 7. It still came out very moist. Slice it very thin. It is a little tough if sliced thick.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

This is a wonderful banana muffin recipe. I substituted 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips with 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips. They were very moist and tasty.

Sweet Potato Pie I

I made two pies for a southern friend for his birthday. It was absolutely delicious. I made one small change. In one I substituted evaporated milk for just plain milk. The one with evaporated milk was much smoother and creamier.

Pork Sausage Gravy

I used low fat sausage and it wasn't enough to make a rue. I think next time I will shake the flour and milk together before pouring it in the pan. That will eliminate lumps.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Oh My, this is wonderful. My husband made this recipe but cut the recipe in half and used a whole can of stewed tomatoes. It was just enough sauce to serve over noodles. It was not too spicy, just right. Really delicious.

Italian Vegetable Soup

I love all the vegetables in this soup but I did add more water (about 7 cups) and for every cup of water I added one boullion cube. It does make alot but I froze enough for another meal and took some to work for lunch.
