Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2005
I have to admit, I couldn't put my head around the fact that this simple, simple recipe could be so good. I don't think I'll make a ham any other way from now on. It was so incredibly easy and delicious!!! I might try studding the ham with a few cloves the next time, but tonight I made it exactly as posted and it was great!!!

Pumpkin Pie Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2004
These bars were pretty good, but not perfect. They didn't make it to my "keep" pile. The pumpkin part was great tasting, but the crust was weird. Even though I more than doubled the cooking time, the crust seemed like an uncooked cookie.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2004
These cookies were so easy to make, and yummy! I didn't have a problem with the dough at all. I followed the recipe exactly, including the thin icing and they tasted great. I used to avoid sugar cookies because I thought that they were more work than their worth, but not anymore!.

Muesli

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2004
This is the best Muesli I've ever had!, and it was soooooo easy to make! I added some unsweetened coconut, and used dried blueberries instead of raisins. I'm looking forward to trying all sorts of different combinations. Thanks for the recipe

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
This stuffing was perfect. Even my "stuffing expert" Grandma was raving about it! This time I used dried bread cubes by toasting them in the oven and it was waaaaay better. Perfectly moist and not soggy. Yum yum yum!!

Grandma's Secret Pie Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
This crust was amazing. I've always been terrified of pie crust, but this recipe came together so easily! I used it to make "Sweet Potato Pie I" from allrecipes for my Thanksgiving dinner and everyone wanted the recipe. It was definitely a big hit!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2003
This pie received rave reviews at my Thanksgiving dinner!! Everyone wanted the recipe and said that it was the best they ever had. I used yams instead of sweet potatoes, and baked them instead of boiling. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I used "Grandma's secret pie crust" from allrecipes.
