Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Enjoyed the ease of prep. Was in the oven in no time. Took a little more than an hour to reach 158 degrees. Like others have stated, the gravy did not thicken up at all. I poured it into a sauce pan and reduced it adding a pad of butter at the end and it thickened nicely. Low maintence, decent flavor meal.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

So good! I used *4* heads of broccoli and did not need to increase the amount of dressing. Healthier maybe? I also added slivered almonds per others' recommendations. Loved it!

Best part is the vinegrette with the herbs, olives and garlic! Will make more of it next time I make this.

Coq au Vin alla Italiana

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
Very good. Added more spices and carrots/onions than called for. Made in stages, as others described. First browned sausage, then browned chicken, then cooked veggies before adding everything back into a stockpot to cook. Chicken was done in about 45 minutes this way. Makes a ton!

French Silk Chocolate Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
Used only two STICKS of butter. Made sure to mix for 5 minutes after each egg. Topped with real whipped cream. I've made this numerous times - so rich and so good!

So good! Made it easy by using store bought pie crust. Added more bannana slices than called for. Loved the flavors!
