Slow Cooker Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2014
I followed the recipe almost exactly, and it turned out absolutely delicious. The only changes I made were that I also cooked it for longer on low rather than fewer hours on high, as other reviewers had done. I also added sliced carrots. When it was pretty much done, I shredded the chicken with a fork (it was so tender) while still in the Crock Pot and let it stay there a little while longer. I cooked angel hair pasta and then stirred it in with the chicken mixture in the Crock Pot. I really don't understand how anyone could say this recipe is "just okay". It had tons of flavor! My whole family said it was amazing. Even my finicky 2-year old devoured it.

This has become my go-to lasagna recipe for years. It's quite labor-intensive but worth it. I follow the recipe exactly, and it's delicious.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2014
Great soup! I followed the recipe exactly, and my husband and two little boys all had second helpings. My husband is a bit of a soup snob, so the fact that he actually commented on how good it was is enough reason for me to keep this recipe in rotation. Next time I'll be buying bread bowls from Panera to serve it in :)

Great soup! I added a lot of the other ingredients other posters mentioned: sour cream, garlic, oregano and white wine. I also put in some sliced black olives. Turned out really good!

Easy Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2011
This is the most delicious quiche in the entire world. I followed the recipe but used fresh broccoli instead of frozen, also added tomatoes, sauteed onions, salt, pepper, ground mustard, and crushed red pepper. My husband loves this, and so do I!!!

Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
This was awesome and SO quick and easy! It tastes like some kind of old family recipe that Grandma used to make, but it takes all of 10 minutes from start to finish! I used leftover chicken, carrots, onions, and potatoes I had in the fridge from a dinner we had earlier in the week. I then dumped in all the chicken broth I had on hand, then added water until everything was covered. I added a chicken bouillon cube as someone else had suggested. I also had some uncooked alphabet-shaped pasta that I dumped in as well. For extra flavor along with the minced garlic I also put in salt, pepper, onion flakes, parsley, and basil. It was delicious!!!!

Tomato Basil Penne Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
Really good, and super easy. I added a can of diced tomatoes and served with grilled chicken on top. I also didn't have basil oil so just sprinkled basil in the olive oil.

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
Really tasty! The first time I made it exactly as the recipe instructed, and it was delicious! The second time I didn't have any mayo in the house so I substituted Caesar salad dressing. It was still good, but better with the mayo.

Pasta Margherita

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
Thought this was a great recipe. We called it "pizza pasta". I also added some garlic only because we love it. Great, super easy recipe my 4-year old loved!
