Authentic German Potato Salad
I have made this recipe several times for potlucks and group dinner events... Sometimes I add in other sautéed veggies - mushrooms, celery, carrots, etc. It's all good! I don't eat meat, so I leave the bacon out. This dish is seriously easy to make and very seriously delicious. I love that it doesn't use the heavy mayo in other potato recipes. I sub dried parsley, and it tastes just fine.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way
This was my first time cooking a turkey and it turned out perfectly. My boyfriend insisted we get an 18-lb. bird (which is huge). I followed the recipe and cooked it at 350 for a little less than 4 hours. So moist and flavorful - left overs were awesome too!

Mushroom and Swiss Chicken
I LOVE this recipe. I serve it over whole-grain thin spaghetti tossed with olive oil and red pepper flakes, but any pasta will do. Also, the Swiss cheese is optional for me... sometimes I forget to use it and don't notice until dinner is over. This makes delicious leftovers.
