Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2015
Used the hints of cutting sugar back to 1/4 cup. I make my own mayo, found mixing the sugar and other ingredients in it was quick and easy. Used green peppers since I din't have red.

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
Every time I make this it comes out great. Follow the directions or by using some of the modifications you see here in reviews. My favorite modification is to use crackers, fresh thyme and garlic w peppercorns ran through the food processor. I have even added parmesan cheese in the processor. Have always had great complements when I've made this dish. Definitely one to add yo your recipe box.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
EASY!! Even my youngest son helped! I never made cinnamon buns before (last week was the first time I made bread from scratch), Didn't use a bread machine instead I kneaded the dough for 8 minutes with the kitchen aid mixer.I followed other reviewers advice by letting the dough rise in the oven by turning oven on to 100 degrees and then turning it off,The only other thing I did different was sweeten the icing by using a little more butter, vanilla and confectioners sugar to suit the taste buds of my youngest son,( The cinnamon bun expert). I froze eight of them and put the other four in the refrigerator over night, In the morning I baked them at 350 for 25 minutes.I would definitely recommend this recipe it truly is a clone of a Cinnabon.

French Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
This is the first time I made bread from scratch. It turned out GREAT!I followed some of the other reviewers advise by increasing the salt by 1/2 teaspoon, adding soy lecithin, ginger I didn't have citric acid so I added a small amount of lemon juice, I washed it with an entire egg yolk and white after slicing the top before the second proof. Served it with chicken and 40 cloves. My wife and mom enjoyed it, They said for it being the first time I made bread it turned out GREAT!

Mary's Meatloaf

very good, everyone thought it was the best meatloaf they ever had. I use a meatloaf mix of veal, beef ,and pork. Also I used 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic rather than powder Also added some finely chopped green peppers.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2002
Fast easy and very good. I cooked it for fours on low and waited untill the last hour to add the rice. Also used cream of brocolli, celery and chicken Dijon rather than what was listed. Seasoned it up a bit more with a little cajun seasoning, oregano,& dry mustard.
