I am a SAHM to 3 awesome little boys (6, 2, and 1) and a wife to my soulmate! I LOVE cooking and baking for my family and I LOVE serving meals to my husband's single soldiers not only for holidays but any time of year.

My favorite family cooking traditions
Making orange glazed cinnamon rolls every XMAS morning after gifts. My father also taught me the RIGHT way to make goulash!
My cooking triumphs
I baked my FIRST EVER Thanksgiving Dinner this year (2010) for 15 people. The turkey was mouthwatering, and some of the guys are still talking about it. I also baked my first ever cherry pie completely from scratch and IT WAS EDIBLE!
My cooking tragedies
I don't know what I did but I made an Angel Food Cake that was like rubber the other day. I have NO CLUE what the problem was.

Snickerdoodles IV
I do NOT like cinnamon, so I had to rate this by how my husband liked them. They are DELISH! His eyes rolled in his head and he thanked me profusely.

Vanilla Cupcake
The batter was really thick but somehow my cupcakes came out quite fluffy in the middle. The tops were a bit stiff, but they were still delicious. I made these for my son's birthday party, so I won't know the true verdict until a bunch of 10-12 year olds rate it for me. I don't have self rising flour, so I had to use All Purpose and add 1 tsp of baking powder and a pinch of salt. I also added a bit of milk.
