Marble Swirl Pound Cake
As per the reviews, I cut the flour to 3 cups. I also added 2 tsp milk to the chocolate mixture. Baked for 55 minutes. Still, it was dry to the point of crumbling. Also, the chocolate part was not chocolatey enough. If I try this again, I will use melted chocolate instead of cocoa, and cut the flour even more.

Applesauce Bars
I baked in an 8x8 pan, and added 1/2 cup walnuts and 1/2 cup raisins. I chose to skip the icing in this recipe and topped it with cream-cheese frosting instead. With my changes, I wouldn't call these bars -- it was a cake. But it was a DELICIOUS cake!

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
This was darn good! I also used a can of tomatos in place of one of the cans of soup. My husband doesn't like "chunky," so I put the tomato and onion in the food processor to make it smooth. I used one can kidney beans, one can cannellini beans, and one can black beans - very festive! I added the spices as written (minus the allspice). It was just a tiny bit spicy. Next time, I will increase the chili powder and red pepper, to give it some kick. We both loved this, and my husband even had leftovers for breakfast (blech). This recipe is going into our monthly meal rotation!
