Absolutely Amazing Ahi

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
I don't really like raw fish that much, and I will not lie, this recipe did not change my mind. The reason I give it 5 stars is because my Japanese sister-in-law and brother loved and raved about it when I made it for them. So, for those who like to eat shasimi and sushi, this is probably a 5 star recipe, and easy too...

Flea Terminator Dog Treats

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
Easy recipe!!!! But i will reiterate what a previous poster said: Don't make these if you are expecting guests - - the smell is quite strong! I made them on a day when the weather was great so I opened up the windows to air out the garlic odor. My dog loves them... can't speak for the flea repelling quality right now though as he didn't have fleas before.... but will try we flea season comes back around!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Yummy and buttery! I didn't have cream of tartar, but they came out just fine without. I used golden raisens because that is all I had. I wish I had cranberries, that would be perfect! The only problem I have with it is that I think that cutting into 12 portions makes scones that are way to big. I am used to smaller scones so I almost doubled the amount by cutting smaller.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
This was really good and easy. I didn't have mushrooms or cheddar cheese. I only had peas and carrotts mixed, so I used that and instead of cheddar I had to use american and I must say, it was yummy! Will make again!

Orange Glaze II

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
As someone else did, I used powder sugar and brown sugar as well (eye-balled it), and being that some have said it needed more orange flavor, I added orange zest also, it was perfect.

Impressed Myself Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Pretty good... of course I used a couple of others ideas and used raw bacon to wrap, used cream of chicken soup in the stuffing, and used the slow cooker then crisped them up in the oven. Like I said, pretty good, but probably will not be a regular on my menu.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
not my cup-o-tea. My mom always makes just sweet potatos out of the can on the stove top with brown sugar. So they are big chunks in a sweet sauce. I wanted to try something different, and I will not do that again, for sweet potatos at least. I didn't like the consistancy. I took the suggestion of mashing instead of blending and it didn't help much, kindof dry and bland.
