Pecan Pie Muffins

A good finger food. Used less butter because I didn't have the full amount. The only thing I would change next time is to add some vanilla extract.

Key Lime Cheesecake I

Followed the recipe and it turned out WONDERFUL and was my first cheesecake that did not split. Did use Key West Key Lime Juice and it was not tart at all(but my family likes key limes)

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Wonderful recipe. Substitute Splenda for the sugar. Would love a candle that has the aroma of this stuff cooking. Yummy!!! Is more like a chutney, but a good chutney. Is definitely a keeper recipe.

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Butternut Squash Soup

This is good as a side dish, but a little overpowering to be the main course. Half the called for cheese is definitely the way to go. A very good cold weather soup.

This is a great recipe and the bonus is that it is low-fat/low-carb. Made by the recipe except used no-fat buttermilk. Definitely a keeper.

Blackberry and Blueberry Pie

Followed a lot of the recommendations for this recipe..i.e.--went with the premade crust, drained the frozen berries and went two tablespoons of corn starch. It was o.k. but not something I would bake again.

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Having just returned from New Orleans, we were looking for a recipe with that great praline taste. This one definitely is a keeper. Went by the recipe except a little more on the sweet potatoes and would NOT change a thing.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Always looking for new ways to prepare chicken. This one will go in the recipe book. I did follow several reviews and cut down on the vinegar to 1/3 cup. Did not have all the spices so I used what was available. Also added chopped garlic.

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Walnut Biscotti

This is so good and won the approval of a child and an 85 year old woman. Need I say more! Better than any biscotti I've ever bought. We used fresh black walnuts in our recipe.
