Hot Pizza Dip

A great recipe. The only thing I did different was to leave off the olives. Served with french bread that I made, a loaf that is small around, sliced it thin, brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with garlic powder and baked them til crisp.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This was a great recipe. I did follow the advice of some of the reviews. I used 2 cloves of garlic, 2 bay leaves and 1/3 cup of wine. I was surprised how good it came out, the meat fell apart. With no doubt I will make this again

Slow Cooker Lasagna

I don't think that I would make it again. The flavor was good, however, it was real dry. I used alot more sauce than recommended and it was still dry. I don't think that it's any easier than making it the conventional way.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

This recipe was very good However it was too moist and heavy. I greased the pans well and coated them with the combination of cinnamon and sugar. The bottom of the bread stuck to the pans, I wonder if anyone else had that problem. If I make it again I will not coat the pans.

Chocolate Sour Cream Fudge

I followed the recipe word for word and even used a candy thermometer. It came out so hard that it couldn't be cut or broken into pieces, couldn't even bit it. I wouldn't try the recipe again.

Alfredo Light

It was great, not heavy. I did find that it wasn't th ick enough , so I added more flour. I took the suggestion not to put the onion and increase the garlic. I am on Weight Watchers and it was low in points. I love light recipes. Dorothy, thanks for the recipe.

Basic Corn Muffins

Great recipe, I used vegetable oil, I didn't have canola. I made 5 jumbo muffins. They weren't crumbly like cornmeal muffins usually are. They also freeze well. I will surely make them again.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Amazing Butternut Squash

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving. Of course the picky eaters didn't care for it. All the others seemed to have enjoyed it. I cut the squash lengthwise, put them on a cookie sheet face down, baked at 350 for 45 minutes, waited for them to cool and then scooped the squash out. It's easier than cutting it into pieces. I think next time I would use less onions.

Jumbo Fluffy Walnut Apple Muffins

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

It was a hit, was easy to make. I marinated it overnight, the flavor was excellent, I barbequed them. I think the cloves of garlic that I used were too large, I will use smaller ones next time. I will make it again for sure.

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits

It's a great recipe, they were light. A great recipe and is easy to make. The next time I'm going to try the recipe with buttermilk. I tried making them with buttermilk, it didn't come out as good. They also freeze real well. Thanks for such a good recipe.

Whoopie Pies III

I found the filling to be very bland. I used 1 tsp ov vanilla instead of only 1/4 tsp. It gave the filling more flavor. A great recipe, my grandchildren always asks for them. I always have them in the freezer.

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

I added a can of diced tomatoes, rosemary and a bay leaf. I also added more salt. I browned the meat & onion and then put everything in a slow cooker. I put the carrots and potatoes in for the last 3 hours. The last half hour I added peas.
