Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
I was a bread-making virgin before attempting these rolls for Thanksgiving Day. My mother helped me...as I whisked she added in the flour...but other than that I did all the work. These were so easy! For the rising part, I just put them in the microwave so that it was dark and warm. I think my brother ate about 10 of them and he is the pickiest eater ever. The only thing I added was a nice eggwash (1 beaten egg and 2 tbls. water mixed) brushed on the rolls before baking for 12 mins. They came out beautifully golden brown.

Herb-Glazed Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
This was very good! All of the ingredients are on hand already...I did, however, also inject my turkey with Texas Butter (spicier butter) and then after 2 hours of the turkey roasting I basted it about 4 times. The turkey was incredibly moist. Key point, I think, is to make sure that you pat the turkey dry and then to really rub it down with olive oil as the first step.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
These were so easy! I skipped step 1 & 2 and just added the minced garlic from a can that I had on hand. I prepped the potatoes the night before and just left them in a pot in the fridge and made sure they were covered with water (very important or they turn brown). The next day I just changed the water and left them sitting on the stove until I was ready to put them on to boil. So easy and so tasty!!! We even left the skin on!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
So good and so easy! Prepped everything the night before, and as one reviewer wrote, I put everything except the egg in a bowl and refridgerated overnight. The next morning I threw it all in the crockpot and had it on warm all day, added chicken stock as necessary. It seriously could not have been easier and I got RAVE reviews.

Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
I'm sorry, I think these sound so good and I LOVE crab stuffed mushrooms....however, these turned out terrible. I made them as written and there was no taste...I even tried adding ingredients after and it was still lifeless. I will not be making this recipe again.

Beefy Upside Down Pizza Casserole

Crazy easy to make! I made a mistake and didn't buy any mozzerella cheese, so I had to use cheddar. I think kids would love this!

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Delicious taste, but cooking time is a bit off...I went by what the directions had and the top noodles came out super crispy. So next time I will take it down by 5 mins and see, but this is a for sure keeper. I sauteed my own spinach with some EVOO and garlic, but that's the only change I made. So tasty and so few ingredients! Cheap and easy, I LOVED it!

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
I made a bunch of cassaroles to freeze one Sunday and this is one of the ones I picked. This is amazingly simple, yet elegant tasting. I had my boyfriend try all of them and give me a rating. I thought I wasn't going to have any of this one left! He kept saying "I can't tell if I like it yet, I need one more bite" haha, this is a definite keeper. I boiled the chicken and then diced it up and threw it in with sauteed onions, seasoned with a little Season All and this was delish!!

Country Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Easily my favorite breakfast cassarole. I even didn't have enough gravy in my packet and it STILL came out amazing. I added more green onion, but that was it. Very good and tasty breakfast dish.

Jalapeno Popper Cups

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
These were delicious, although next time I will saute the jalapeno first as I don't like biting into crunchy jalapeno. Big hit at the BBQ! UPDATE - Sauteeing these is a MUST...these are gone within minutes...they are good in the phyllo dough cups, but they are also incredible in Tostitos Scoops...they might actually be better in the Scoops because they have a little salt added. These are my new go-to apps, they are so delicious!

Baked Hot Dog Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
Loved, loved, loved it! So easy and SOOO tasty! I left out the onion (I was short on time and didn't want to chop), but added everything else...this is a great, different way to make hotdogs! Also made these as chili cheese dogs with turkey hotdogs and they were delish!

Andy's Spicy Green Chile Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
This was very good...I used jalapenos because the crowd I was cooking for can't handle spice, so I just halved and seeded them and threw them in. There were no leftovers, even my brother raved about this one :)
