Campfire Foil Packs

Reviewed: May 16, 2012
I have made these many times, every time we go camping! I do have changes though that make it really good. I use hamburger instead of chicken. I also use potatoes, green peppers and onions. Lastly, I do not use oil, it makes the food really oily, I put a little butter and 2 ice cubs in the foil, this keeps everything really moist. I will put some of each in nonstick foil, throw in fire...and you have a fantastic dinner. Add some corn on the cob and you have a mighty fine dinner with almost no cleanup! Try it on the grill too, just as good!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
This was really good! I did follow some reviews and added 12 eggs. It was so much better with more eggs. I also used Southwest Style hashbrowns. It has onions, green peppers and red peppers....made a big difference.

This recipe was amazing! I made it that way it is written except for one small change. I used green chili enchilada sauce instead of red sauce, it was wonderful!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
I made these for a party and they went fast!!!! I did use some of the suggestions: put them in the freezer about 15 minutes before dipping them in chocolate, I used 2 forks to dip in the chocolate (I dropped the ball in and then used the forks to roll them around and pick them up and out), I used wax paper to keep them on). This turned out great!!!!!! My friends would like me to put cherries in the middle...didn't know if that would work! I will have to give it a try! I also used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of bakers chocolate, it is cheaper!
