Marshmallow Chocolate Chip Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
This pie is fantastic! I misread the recipe and instead of using grated chocolate I used chocolate chips which of course sunk through the marshmellow mixture and out of sight! However, once the pie had set and been covered with broken oreos instead of graham crackers it looked fine. It was most fun as people cut into it and discovered all the chocolate chips at the bottom! I would recommend doing this for children as they loved trying to find them all! ha ha. A happy mistake with a great recipe, thank you.

This was so easy and a great way to serve zucchini. I used a grapefruit spoon to scoop out the zucchini and then baked in the oven. Thanks for the receipe

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I made this last night and will certainly make again. I only had a 1.25lb London Broil so used 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of chicken soup. I added chopped onion, celery, carrotts and green bell pepper on the bottom of the slow cooker and put the meat on the top. For the sauce I mixed the two soups together and then added a couple of tablespoons of red wine, a dash of worcestershire sauce and some minced garlic plus a little water. The result was wonderful and smelt amazing when I got home. Served over tagliatelle pasta and it was wonderful. Thanks for a great receipe.

Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
This recipe was fine, full of veggies and easy to make. I found it quite watery, I don't think it needs as much liquid. I used small pasta shells shapes instead of egg noodles which I liked. With less liquid it would certainly have more flavor.

Chunky Chicken Primavera

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
This is a great base receipe for an easy dinner. I ended up boiling pre-filled fresh ravioli in another pan while I sauteed the vegetables, added the soup and the milk and then when it had thickened, added the cooked pasta. I topped it with cheese. The filled pasta certainly added more flavor but the sauce was just fine on its own. I used fresh vegetables and it didn't take too long for them to cook.

Pork and Veggie Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
Very filling and easy to make. Could have done with a little more spice. We added a touch more cumin then called for and we used stewed tomatoes and canned corn instead of the frozen ones called for. Great for fall evenings though, thanks.

This is such an easy way of making Banoffee pie which is my favourite! I added a layer of bananas on the bottom as well and put it in the fridge as soon as the toffee on top overnight before adding another layer and the cream. I have also seen chocolate sauce or ice-cream sauce put on the base to add some extra chocolate flavor. Thanks so much for this receipe...certainly a keeper!
