Whole family loved them! We cut the recipe in 1/2 and still had way too many for the 6 of us.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This was a great recipe. The extra brown sugar and vanilla from a typical cookie recipe gave it a great flavor that wasn't over powered by the cake. It's also dry enough it's not too gooey. A great balance. Thank you! For those having trouble with the cookie dough...you MUST freeze it long enough that the dough doesn't bake into a cookie. I just make the cookie dough a day ahead of time to be safe. Also, if it's too much dough for your liking, make smaller balls. The table spoon size balls will almost take up the entire inside of your cup cake. (I personally liked it that way) variations for high altitude: use baking powder instead of soda, add 1/4 c flour and about 1/8 c water to cake mix. I also like to use melted butter instead of oil (really if you are going to eat something with this much sugar, you may as well make it taste as good as possible)

Asian Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
I didn't read all of the reviews before I made it. I was in a hurry, liked the ingredients and printed it out. Agree that there is LOTS of dressing. Very tasty though! Next time I will use less dressing and toss in some crab! Thanks for the recipe

Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
I was tempted to omit the soy sauce because it didn't sound very Hispanic, but I decided to make exactly as the recipe was to try it and see if I like it and I must say, my whole family LOVED it. We are very picky with our Mexican food. Of course, we all had to add more lime and cilantro over our roasted peppers and onions! Thanks for the recipe!

Seafood Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
My local grocery store did not sell everything, so we ended up with a few things different. One thing was the calamary. They only had steaks, so I cut them in to strps and it was wonderful. I could not find scallops this time either, so I just added more shrimp.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Wonderful comfort food! Of course I modified it to fit my families taste, but I always do. My family won't eat anything but white meet, so I used breasts, but I also cooked them in chicken broth to make sure we weren't missing out on flavor. Added chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Sauteed them first to make sure they were cooked through. Used cream of mushroom, and added celery salt, garlic, and a dash of cayenne pepper. SO yummy!! Thank you for the recipe!

Donut Muffins

Kids loved them. For high altitude, I reduced sugar and baking powder and added 25 degrees. They were light and fluffy with tons of flavor! Thanks
