Country Breakfast Casserole

I made this recipe but substituted a bag of seasoned croutons scattered across the top instead of the bread. Baked for 30 minutes @ 350 (because I was also cooking cinnamon rolls in the oven at the same time), and it turned out perfect. Will make again.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Didn't have time to let it sit in the fridge. I am sure that's why I am only giving it 4 stars... it could have been much better if only I would have had the time to make it according to the directions. The flavor was really good but the flour didn't have time to stick to the chicken properly. I will try this again and just mix it all in a large bag and make sure to let them go to the fridge first, next time.

The Best Lemon Bars

I made this exactly as directed. Baked the crust for 15 minutes then poured the lemon mixture into the pan and continued cooking for 20 minutes. I let it completely cool then placed in the refrigerator for a while before cutting and serving. Dusted with powdered sugar. Amazing. The crust is wonderful. I think I'll use the crust again in some other pie-ish recipes. Definitely a dense shortbread cookie like crust.

Easy Spicy Mexican-American Chicken

I'm making this for the second time (in a month) tonight. I positively love how you can change up the spice and sweetness and its so super easy! I mix all my ingredients in one big bowl and just dip the chicken through it then pour all the remaining sauce on top. I double the hot sauce and brown sugar and keep all other measurements the same (I usually make 8 pieces at a time). I cook it in a glass covered pyrex baking dish then uncover it for the last 25 mins. This is definitely a keeper for a quick easy meal. Tonight I'm making it with legs.

Amish Meatloaf

I thought this was very good. I used herb snack crackers. My girlfriend thought the tomato glaze on top was a bit too sweet but I loved it. I did not add the bacon on top either.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

I have made this many times, changing up the seasonings a bit here and there but overall this is a great meal to make before going to work and coming home to at night. I like using a dark heavy beer for greater flavor.

Rich Cheese Pie

I made this and it turned out wonderful! Even as leftovers, it heated up and was yummy good. I can see that this would make a fabulous base for some crumbled bacon or some ham bits, maybe some onion. I will definitely make this again.

Grandma's Sweet Slaw

I scaled this down to 4 servings and used a pre-made coleslaw bag of cabbage & carrots. I should have noted the other reviews regarding being so sweet but I didn't because I generally love a sweeter slaw. This however was almost candy-sweet. I definitely like the ease of the recipe though and will probably try again with a lot less sugar added.

No Bake Camping Cookies

I did increase the oats to 2 Cups and used 1 Tbs of water and a 1/2 tsp of instant coffee-- and I took someone-elses advice about using the cup of my palm and a spoon to make the balls. Oh and I also refrigerated the dough before rolling and put my powdered sugar in a small bowl that I could just toss about until the cookie was covered-- then back into the fridge again. Just a bit grainy but perhaps that will go away as they set longer.

Red Wine Flavored Beef

This just didn't turn out very well. Added additional water because there just wasn't much juice to cook in. Also ended up cutting the meat into small pieces and stirred around with additional seasonings to give it some flavor.

Barbecue Pork On Buns

This was so super easy and delicious! I did add a bit of Adobo spice to it just to give it a little something.. and I didn't really even measure the cola or BBQ (Sweet Baby Rays)-- I just dumped equal amounts of both on top of the loin and onions... the soupy part is the bomb! During the last hour I slightly shredded it with a large fork and let it sit for a bit. I will definitely make this again.

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Well, I am rating this as a 5 simply because it couldn't get any easier! I rarely make pudding because you have to stand over it and hope it doesn't scorch... with this one its simply one bowl, one wisk and a quick beat each minute for only the last 3 minutes. I added butter and vanilla as suggested and used the flour instead-- now I am just having to be patient for it to cool in the fridge. It tasted wonderful hot however. I just couldn't resist!
