About this Cook
One of my most favourite things in the world, is to cook and bake. I am very happy to be homeschooled and living with my nine siblings and awesome mom and dad. I love drawing and singing also. Of course, from my mother I learned the code of the True baker and cook, never buy cake mix, food mixes, or premade icing. I've gone along with this, and I must say, I LOVE making my own cakes and icing. Taking the time to do it is the most fun part!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, cakes, and cookies. Italian and chicken or meat pot pies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom has always been a wonderful cook. She'll always be working hard to make the house warm and inviting. But when she gets down to the kitchen, she prepares wonderful meals, that would make your mouth water. All from scratch and without a recipe. My two favourite things that she makes are chicken curry, and clam spaghetti. She makes her own soupbroth, and never uses store bought spaghetti sauce.
My cooking triumphs
A lot of the things i've made.
My cooking tragedies
To many to mention.

Eggnog Hot Chocolate
I really liked this hot chocolate! Though I wouldn't add the coffee ligueur, it's already quite sweet without it. Definatly a keeper!

Sugar Cookies IV
This was a GREAT recipe. As other viewers said, yes, there was to much flour. And I would add less. But if you don't it doesn't matter. This is still a great recipe and is fantastic with buttercream icing.

Lemon Gold Cake
Not QUITE what I was expecting, still, this cake is yummy and very delicious, light and soft. It was a big hit with my family. I decreased the sugar amount slightly, still turned out very sweet, but not to sweet. Definatly a keeper, thanks for sharing! :D
