Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
i got a strong batch of provolone that didn't work with this recipe well and made me wary the next time i made it. I decided to try swiss cheese instead of provolone and it was awesome.

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
i love these ribs and made the sauce as listed many many times. HOWEVER i recently found the baking soda to be too much and halved it to much better results. i know its not kosher in the rib world but i ALWAYS boil my ribs until the meat starts to pull away from the bone and then put all ribs and sauce in a covered dish in the oven, stirring it all up a couple of times over the course of 40min or so at 350.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
These are not good. I didn't use the icing so only rating the brownie and it wasn't good. this is not a thick chewy brownie - its far too much like cake and not even very good cake.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
I did as the other reviewers and this turned out amazingly. it's not chewy or crunchy but melt in your mouth heaven. i used becel olive oil margarine as that was all i had on hand and i think i would use a "stiffer" margarine or butter in the future but it despite that it was still awesome and as easy as the title suggests.

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
This was a great recipe. I found the cookies sorta under cooked at the recommended time so the second time I used this recipe I used parchment paper so I could cook them a little longer without burning the bottoms. The recipe doesn't yield a lot.. or maybe they were so popular they just went faster than normal. I also used one cup of peanut butter and added 1 teaspoon of almond extract. I also discovered a few turns on my sea salt grinder made much yummier cookies than regular table salt (i was out of regular salt at the time).

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2004
I made this for thanksgiving dinner and it was a very nice alternative to pumpkin pie. i used e.b. smith apple pie filling and only 2 eggs not 3. I loved that this didn't require a spring form pan since I don't have one and this was so easy. Instead of using the rest of the pie filling on the top i just decorated it with whole and chopped pecans and Smuckers carmel ice cream sauce. I'm not sure how much carmel sauce I used but sure it wasn't as much as the recipe requied. I just used a thin layer over the top. i did all the decorating the night before and it didn't have any ill effects so save yourself the time and decorate before you refrigerate it. I'm sure my husband will be having me make this for all special occassions now.

Fruity Ham Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2001
This was the first Christmas dinner i ever prepared on my own and it was a HUGE success! it was surprsingly easy and inwxpersive. I didn' have nutmeg on hand and i replaced in with a teaspoon of ginger and added orange slices for a citrus burst. Fabulous and everyone wanted seconds and thirds. I would definitly do it again!
