Oatmeal Raisin Cookies III
I REALLY like this cookie. It was soft and light and no too sweet. I used a little less raisin water.( about 7tblspns) After draining my raisins i blotted them with a paper towel before folding into batter. I am definitely going to try this recipe with apples next time just for something different.

Split Pea Soup with Rosemary
I really enjoyed this soup! I used the ham bone in place of bacon as advised by RandyRandy. Instead of chopping my rosemary, I just grabbed a couple sprigs from the garden and threw them in the pot. I didn't have leeks and it still turned out delicious. If you like your pea soup on the thick side (as I do) I would recommend simmering closer to two hours.

Shepherd's Pie VI
This is a delicious dish! I made it on St. Patty's Day for the Hubby. In addition to the beef broth, I added a half packet of Lipton Onion Beefy Soup Mix, about a tablespoon and a half of Lea and Perrins and a big gulp of Guinness! Pair it with a a black and tan or a Guinness. Irish eyes r smiling and your man is going back for seconds :)
