Great Burger Joint Alert (Seattle)

Just recently discovered "Lil Woody's" on Cap Hill. Its been open for a while now, but I finally went in and tried it out. I'm glad I did. This one of the best burgers I've had in a while. I had the Big Woody, and the fries are amazing. Decided to go back a few days later a grab some fries and a Vanilla shake. And I must say the shake was pretty darn good.

Thanks ChefJon. My DD lives in Capitol Hill. I e/m her the info and told her to try it if he hadn't been there yet. I'll add it to my list of place I want to eat at when I go visit next. Thanks again!

Chef Jon, you suck, you know that? I like your blogs, I really do. But then you come on and direct me to a joint I'd LOVE to try and have little hope of ever doing so. Better would be if you invented stasis mailers and then simply offered to send everyone say, a quarter of a burger each, piping hot and delicious as you say. See, that would be good. Coming on here and going neener neener, not so good.

Gotta disagree with you, Randy. Chef Jon has always been a man of few words and, I'm sure, he was sharing something he found to be exceptional. He's far from the first to have talked about a local eatery that is beyond the use of most of us. A little imagination and a lengthier blog writes itself into your mind- sorta like the thought process of Haiku. For instance, he wrote just one sentence in a post that went like this. "One of my favorite holidays. Can't wait to see my dear old mom!" It stimulated a thought process of how wonderful things were when my mother was still with us. A simple warm sentence.

Oh Mike, I feel terrible, you didn't see that I was kidding? I always read Jon stuff. I gotta work on my word skills. Jon I don't really think you suck, I used that like pople use bad, you bad. I thought the clue was in the stasis mailers, which of course, haven't been invented yet.

I've been there and it's fabulous! I really do remember thinking it was the best burger I've had in a while, and we have a lot of burger places in Seattle! They make their own fries and they're great, not those limp greasy things some places serve. Ok now I have a craving for a burger....
